THE SECRET OF BEING HAPPY:

Growing up, I was always so concerned about what other people thought of me, how I looked, if they liked me, and whether or not I fit in.  I would spend hours every single day obsessing over my looks and trying to change things about myself, when before I knew it, I didn’t even know who I was anymore; or who I was trying to be. I then began indulging myself on what made me happy. Art has always been a way of escaping reality and to provide myself with my own “me time” and although that wasn’t everyone’s passion or interest, I went for it! It’s important to get a good understanding about you, and to ask yourself questions you would ask on a date.

In doing this, I found that I didn’t need anyone else’s acceptance, other than my own. Its best not to look back on what could have been, but to instead keep your mind thinking about your future. As I grew up I found myself not caring about what anyone else thought about me, because why would I? No one is perfect, nor will anyone ever be. Everyone has their own flaws, and that’s what makes them unique. I’ve learned to love myself, and every other single one of my flaws and it has allowed me lead a much more positive and uplifting life!
